Foodies and Fundraising: EEP Events Partners with Andee’s Army
Each year, the Atlanta Greek Festival is an incredible feat to plan and produce, and is always a feature on our calendar for the first weekend in October.
Yet, when we received a request to partner with Andee’s Army Foundation to provide sound for their fundraiser dinner at Kevin Rathbun Steak, we agreed immediately. This local foundation was formed to continue the legacy of Andee Poulos, a teenage girl whose family is also part of the Greek Orthodox Cathedral of the Annunciation here in Atlanta. After Andee suffered a brain injury in 2011 and began her courageous journey of recovery, Andee’s Army was formed with the mission to provide services and financial assistance to families of children who are receiving medical treatment and care for non-traumatic brain injuries.
As foodies ourselves, our team loved the opportunity to set up in the pre-opening hours at Kevin Rathbun Steak, amidst the sieving of sauces, the marinating of asparagus, and the jovial banter between the chefs and staff.
We’re so glad for the opportunity to provide the PA system and our pro sound services for this special cause, and look forward to our next chance to work with Andee’s Army and with Chef Rathbun!
